How to Prepare
Every patient visit is unique and every problem deserves a thorough evaluation, so if you have more than one concern it may be necessary to schedule a different appointment to address it. If you have more than one skin problem to discuss during your appointment remember to prioritize and start with the most important one. Know Your Medical History and bring all your medications and skin treatments with you.
Procedures, Biopsies, Surgeries
In the event that a biopsy or the removal of a skin lesion is recommended keep in mind that these procedures may not be performed on the same day as your initial evaluation. Many procedures require a follow-up appointment to remove sutures or to discuss lab results and will need to occur 7 to 14 days later.
Appointments & Scheduling
NO SHOW/CANCELLATION POLICY
We love providing the luxury of same-day appointments with a Board Certified Dermatology provider. Some offices require you to have a credit card on file or make a deposit to book your appointment. We do NOT do this. However, in order to protect the dedicated appointment slot, we enforce a strict cancellation/no-show policy. Cancellations less than 24 hours (weekdays) for ANY reason will result in a fee. This fee is non-refundable and covers the staff in preparation for your appointment and the time slot reserved for you. This policy is also noted on your required signed paperwork. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Prescriptions
Prescriptions
Prescriptions are sent electronically to your pharmacy following your visit. Most prescriptions should be available by the end of the day. Please allow up to 24 hours from your appointment time for availability. Some medications require prior authorization by your insurance, this can add a significant delay to the process. When needed, our office will work with your insurance to get your medication approved. We cannot guarantee coverage approval, but we will make every effort to find a solution. To avoid delays and unnecessary expenses we strive to prescribe within your insurance company's pharmacy formulary when at all possible.
Please contact your pharmacy first for refill requests.
