DermCARE now has the FDA-approved injection for weight loss, containing the same active ingredient as Wegovy/Ozempic (semaglutide) or Zepbound/Mounjaro (tirzepatide).
Weekly injections are pre-drawn for your dose and sent home with you monthly.

What are Semaglutide and Tirzepitide?
They are injections of once-weekly glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). This medication improves glycemic control and delays gastric emptying, resulting in decreased appetite, reduced food cravings, and improved eating control.
Both medicines have been proven to help keep your blood sugar in check, allowing fat burning. It also slows gastric emptying, aiding in appetite control and keeping you feeling fuller longer.
How is your prescription different from others?

Our injections contain the same active ingredient as those listed above but are a generic version of these brand-name medications. Ours also contains vitamin B to aid in preventing nausea. Our injection is compounded and drawn up in insulin syringes for injection, whereas the brand-name medications come in a pre-loaded pen.
These weight loss medication visits are self-pay only; no insurance will be filed for the visit or medication.

She has been a healthcare provider in the Louisville area for more than 25 years and has extensive experience in family practice, weight management, emergency medicine, and dermatology.
Christy Baker is one of a few hundred board-certified dermatology nurse practitioners in the country and has operated her dermatology practice, DermCARE Practitioners, since 2018.
